5/14/12 NDNG Soldiers to Conduct Training at Kimball Bottoms Land area to be closed to public
BISMARCK, N.D. -The North Dakota National Guard's 957th Engineer Company (Multi-Role Bridge) will be conducting field training exercises at Kimball Bottoms beginning 6 p.m. Friday, May 18 to noon on Sunday, May 20.

4/30/12 NDNG's Land Component Commander to be Promoted
Col. Dave Anderson will be promoted today to the rank of Brig. Gen. at Raymond J. Bohn Armory in Bismarck. Promotions to the rank of general are infrequent and reserved for only the highest leadership slots within the Guard. In January, Anderson assumed command of the North Dakota National Guard's Land Component Command (LCC), which is the Army component of the N.D. National Guard with more than 3,350 Soldiers assigned.
